Film Screenings
This is it! See the films that were selected for 2025 and sit amongst the filmmakers, hear them speak about their films, and ask them questions. Hosted at the Orangeville Opera House and featuring a red-carpet, onsite DFF customizable merch with TownTees, concession featuring popcorn, snacks and various drinks including wine by tre amici winesi and Vertical Wine Group craft beer by Mono Center Brewing and … some fantastic Canadian films and filmmakers!
All Screenings are at the Orangeville Opera House and are 2 hours long including the Q & A

VIP Friday Night - SOLD OUT
One of the most anticipated events is our opening night party - and this year at a local speakeasy hideaway. Mingle with filmmakers, enjoy exciting entertainment including live music, mentalist magician, dancers from Citrus Fusion, and prize giveaways. Raise a glass to Canadian film and celebrate the opening of DFF 2025 in style. Dress code in effect - be ready for a night of dancing! This is a ticketed 19+ event - Dress Code

VIP Awards Cocktail Night
The event to be at - this is the end-of-festival social event where our awards are officially announced. This is a VIP event with a chef curated dinner. Limited tickets available and this event was where the weekends filmmakers really networked and celebrated together.
